ACETAL / DELRIN

Acetal is the common name for a thermoplastic named Polyoxymethylene (POM). It can be found in copolymer or homopolymer (DELRIN) grade.

This is a semi crystalline thermoplastic with high mechanical strength and rigidity. Acetals have very good sliding properties, excellent wear resistance and low moisture absorption.It's a material with good mechanical resistance, stiffness, high strength and dimensional stability that can even replace some metal parts. It maintains its properties even whwn exposed to high temperatures or chemicals.

Applications include food industry, gears, safety restraints, door systems, conveyor belts and automation.

Colors: White and black. ESD natural-bone.
